I appreciated the included amenities. The room had soap, shampoo, an iron with ironing board, and a kettle for tea. A packet of shortbread was a nice touch. The location has convenient access to nearby shops and transportation. A Chinese takeaway is across the road and a Co-op is up the hill.

The radiator in the room wasn't working so the room was quite cold. It took a while for the hot water to heat up in the tap.

The hotel features an Indian restaurant, though it has limited opening times! I tried the Indian buffet. It was quite good. the vegetable alloo included frozen vegetables.

lidl was really close, just down the road, i really enjoyed that. the parking lot was big, this made parking so easy. i also appreciated the friendly locals at the bar.

The radiator wasn't working, i slept with my coat on. It was quite cold after my shower.

My ensuite room was good. It was very clean and very quiet. it included all the amenities i needed. the bed was very comfortable. the shower was also efficient.

the bar staff were very friendly, i especially liked leslie, she was helpful. jason, the manager, is a great guy, he is attentive. i appreciate that he is genuinely invested in making sure guests are comfortable.

the hotel is near the beach, only a five minute walk. i thought this was awesome and convenient. you can get into the city centre easily by bus, about 15 minutes on the number 1 or 2 bus
